Half-day Racecourse

Our most popular half-day raft trip. You will be with us for a total of aproximatley 3 hours. Aproximatley 2 hours of that is on Class 2 and 3 rapids, The higher the water the faster the adventure. High water is like a rollercoaster ride of whitewater thrills. Lower water is more like a wet bumper car ride. A perfect family adventure at most water levels, the Racecourse is a suitable whitewater raft trip for first-time rafters. At super-high levels, the last rapid of the Racecourse is one of the biggest on the Rio Grande! That doesn't happen every year, and when it does we move younger children to the Orilla Verde section.

Funyak it! For extra thrills at low and medium water levels, paddle your own inflatable one-person or two-person miniature raft. Perfect for those seeking more excitment and adventure. Follow an experienced guide who will show you the way. You will get a comprehensive lesson at the beginning of the trip, and you will amaze yourself at the skill with which you learn to negotiate the whitewater. No extra charge.

"My family and I took a river rafting excursion on August 7, 2019 - in the afternoon. Our guide was Dillon. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that he is the best. We had a great time and are planning on coming back next summer and taking another river rafting journey - and of course, we will be requesting Dillon as our guide.
Did not find a place on the website to write a review but did want to let yall know how much we learned from Dillon - and what a joy he was to be with...This was my first river rafting experience and to tell the truth, I was a little nervous but Dillon put my fears at ease and before we even left - he said, "don't worry, I got you on this." His reassurance helped me not to scream the whole way... Every step of the way he was calm and in control - and a bit of a character - in a good way!
Words cannot really express my appreciation for his professionalism and keeping my family safe.
Thanks for employing such a wonderful person,
