Sunset Dinner Float

The Rio Grande is never more beautiful than at sunset, when a golden light shimmers on the green meadows of the Orilla Verde, easily accessible but tucked away from the rush of the modern world. This extraordinary high-desert evening light inspired artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe and great Taos artists like Nikolai Fechin and Ernest Blumenschein. Along with the healing energy of the gently flowing waters, and perhaps a glimpse of bighorn sheep and deer coming for their evening drink, river otters playing in the shallows, and beavers awakening for their nocturnal doings, a Sunset Dinner Float is a delightful and memorable experience: the perfect end to what we hope was your perfect day in beautiful northern New Mexico. Only available to parties of 6 or more.

Dinner is prepared fresh at one of the riverside campsites.

"Hi All,
We just got back from a week in your fantastic state. Land of Enchantment is "spot on". I have to say we crammed as much as we could...Kashe Katuwe, Bandelier, Taos Gorge, Taos Pueblo, Ojo Caliente...all were fantastic but the one major hi-light was the sunset dinner trip with Los Rios! It was not our first rafting trip. We've done one in Jackson Hole, shot the Pacuare River in Costa Rica but this was so different and such a great experience. Dano was the best...a real plus to the trip and a true gem to your organization. Jen & Jim prepared a feast for kings at the end. Dining along the Rio Grande, under the open sky with great food and people....doesn't get any better than that. Thanks again."
