"Our experience was exactly what we wanted, [our guide] was funny, witty, and informative about our trip and surroundings. He really insured we had a good time even though the river was low. He made us feel safe in our experience, and really made us laugh. The office staff was very helpful, friendly, kind and on the mark! We are going to return with your company and recommend you to all our friends. Thanks so much, my family really had a good time."

Orilla Verde Half Day Rafting Adventure
A mellow and scenic trip, perfect for small children, seniors, and those who just want to relax on the river. Placid waters glide along past towering bluffs and buttes. Swallows skim the surface and dart past the raft in a dazzling display of avian acrobatics. Indian petroglyphs too.
Orilla Verde trips are oar boats – powered by the guide, you just relax - unless you request a paddle boat.
FUNYAK IT! Try paddling your own inflatable one-person or two-person miniature raft, accompanied by a guide. Also known as duckies, funyaks are stable and easy to maneuver. You will get a comprehensive lesson at the beginning of the trip. Perfect for those who want a half-day introductory funyak trip, or those who are accompanying family members on the Orilla Verde section and want a bit more excitement. The only funyak trip we run in both high and low water. NO EXTRA CHARGE!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - ORILLA VERDE:
Could I fall out of the boat?
If you try hard enough. It's extremely unlikely.
Will you take babies?
It depends on the water level. Please phone us to discuss your requirements.
What about very heavy people, 300 pounds and over?
As long as we can fit you into a life-jacket. Maximum chest size is 60 inches.
What about disabled people?
It depends on the disability. Please phone us to discuss your requirements.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
If you're in a raft, no. Helmets are mandatory for funyakers.
What if the weather's bad?
We don't cancel because of rain: it usually doesn't last long. Early- and late-season trips are subject to our weather policy: if the predicted high temperature is less than 50 degrees, we give you the option of cancelling at no charge to you. It helps if you can be flexible within a few days so we can choose the most suitable day for boating. The decision is made the day before the trip.
