Whitewater Grading
Rapids are graded on a scale from 1 (a ripple) to 6 (unrunnable). Class 2 is mostly flat water with gentle waves; Class 3 ranges from moderate waves to exciting boulder-strewn whitewater; Class 4 is bigger, faster, and more demanding than Class 3.
The rating given for each trip is that of the most difficult rapid.
“Since I had my children with me and it was their first time rafting; not to mention my wife was extremely nervous, I wanted something in the class II to class III, and your facility met all of my expectations. Lars completely put my wife at ease with the skill he showed in maneuvering through the various rapids. He was fantastic and made the trip even more pleasureable. I will certainly turn to you for our next adventure ... Thank you again for a wonderful time.”
